1863 Ham & Bean Soup - Retreat from Gettysburg Recipe
During the Retreat from Gettysburg, the Confederate Army passed through Fairfield. The Fairfield Innkeepers along with the other townswomen served the tired soldiers Ham & Bean Soup. This is a passed-down recipe - a traditional soup.

Opening its doors as a Colonial Meeting House
